Private Child ADHD Assessments (UK-Wide)
As a parent, navigating your child's behavioral, emotional, or educational challenges can be incredibly stressful—especially when faced with long NHS waiting lists for a neurodevelopmental assessment.
At ADHD Plus, we provide compassionate, thorough, and evidence-based online ADHD assessments for children across the UK. We aim to provide the definitive answers you need to access the right support for your child at home and in school.
A Compassionate, Child-Centered Approach
Our Lead Clinician, Chris, has extensive experience working with children and neurodiversity. He strives to create a calm, anxiety-free environment during the assessment.
We conduct these assessments securely online. Being assessed in the comfort and familiarity of their own home often helps children feel more relaxed and cooperative than they would in a clinical office. If your child struggles to engage, we can schedule breaks as needed to ensure their comfort.
The Child Assessment Process
Diagnosing ADHD in children requires a holistic view of their behavior across different environments (usually home and school).
Initial Parent Consultation (Free): A no-obligation phone call to discuss your concerns and ensure an assessment is appropriate.
Gathering Information: We will ask you, and ideally your child's teachers, to complete standardized questionnaires. We will also review any available school reports or previous assessments.
The Clinical Assessment: Conducted via a secure video call, this 1 to 2-hour appointment involves speaking with both you and your child to understand their developmental history, behavior, and the impact on their daily life.
Detailed Diagnostic Report: You will receive a comprehensive report detailing the findings. This vital document can be shared with your child’s school or GP to help secure Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or reasonable adjustments in the classroom.
Supporting Evidence and Parent Input
Your input as a parent is invaluable. We rely heavily on your observations and the supporting evidence you provide to form an accurate diagnosis. We look at the whole picture—not just how your child presents during the video call, but how they function day-to-day.
Affordable Answers
Our comprehensive child ADHD assessment is priced at just £500, providing a fast, accessible alternative to lengthy public waiting lists.
